Their myspace says “Paul Simon’s take on The Smiths” but there are many comparisons to be made (XTC, Tears for Fears, Tanlines, and Everything Everything came to mind while I chugged these songs down).

The are from Oxford and are currently on tour with Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club.

My advice to you: find this 8 song EP (One Hundred Suns) and listen to it. You will not be disappointed.

If you don’t have this yet, get it now.

I especially dig the opening one-two punch of “Chorus” and “Brunettes”. Tropical post-rad jams with snare snaps, rolling toms, and Anco-meets-XTC vocal chants. The whole LP is solid, which is a testament to the true talent that these Knoxville kids bring to the table.
