Daniel Lopatin of the excellent Games has made this genius (remix?) track using samples from the Fleetwood Mac song “Gypsy.” under the alias Chuck Person.

Sounds like he’s slowed it down a bunch, then sped it up while keeping the pitch the same. Brilliant.

Here’s the original video.

Nobody Here by Vektroid

This song is the perfect song to blast in yr office around 4pm today.  Because if yr anything like me, yr just waiting for exodus to reach the critical mass before dipping out early.

Get VEKTROID’s album, Telnet Erotika, below for free.  He has some good liner notes on his bandcampy page that give background.  I recommend the above posted track as well as the opener and closer.

Happy Bird Day bitches.

What Can Make Me Feel This Way by SUPERNIGHTMOVES

France’s SUPERNIGHTMOVES make grooves exactly true to their name.  I feel like I should be driving around downtown in the back seat of a cab on a way to a shady sitch.

Feel sexy with them on bandcamp or the s-clizzle.

Thanks to CW/GF/H for the tip.

One Pacifico Swing by Hoodcats

Hoodcats is a brand new project out of Oakland.  3 dudes under the same roof.  Stream/download their debut EP here.

Comprised of shortcircles (who drops his Plug Research debut next Tuesday) and future-poppin’ duo James & Evander, the Oakland trio have put together three songs of sample-based future-music that owe as much to stoney instrumental hip-hop as they do to bass-minded footwork and house. All now living under one roof in the outskirts of West Oakland, the producers’ current environment (which is highlighted by the never-ceasing presence of street felines, a.k.a. hood cats) is certainly reflected here, but there’s also a touch of playfulness to be heard with generous samples of Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mac” and even Christina Aguilera’s “Genie In a Bottle” appearing amongst the glistening synths and frantic drum programming. -via mapzzz.com

Hallucinating Arkansas by Villa Kang

Toronto’s Villa Kang samples Memoryhouse’s “To The Lighthouse” to create a lush porch anthem.  I love the lonely guitar line and the speeded-up electro arpeggios in the pre-chorus.

Download this track and the b-side for free on Villa Kang’s soundcloud.  The full EP will be out in June 2012.

Glimt by Pandreas

Pandreas is back with another revved up soundtrack to your daring escapes.  Would love to one day see this played live with real instruments during sunset.  The build reminds me of Appleseed Cast’s “On Reflection”.
