Amor Fati - Washed Out
Washed Out is back with another amazing cover of 90’s smooth pop. Earlier this year he brought us his cover of Moby’s “Porcelain”. This time he channels white pool decks and blue skies with Seal’s “Crazy”. Original version here.
His last album featured covers of 80’s tracks, so we can only speculate what this progression will lead him in the future (00’s?).

Get Paid by Rifle Recoil
We’re not going to lie, we don’t know much about this band, except that it’s the project of Jeff Kessel from Arlington VA (now in Brooklyn according to bandcamp) and that we’re in love with his album, Verizon Shine.
We especially like that he keeps telling us we’re about to get paid. And seeing how it’s Friday, we think he’s onto something…
