Sunny and dancey, this track is hard not to like. You can give the whole album a listen on their SoundCloud.
NOTE: Pairs nicely w/ Cut Copy.

Found these guys thru Hugo Manuel’s (Chad Valley) Blessing Force Collective. Apparently if you live in Oxford and know Hugo, you crank out this ish like whoa. I fancy these guys. I fancy them.

Sugarless by Nixon Nights

These Denver kids get all progressive and stuff with their sounds. I especially like what happens at 1:22.
Nixon Nights aren’t afraid to step out on a limb to catch that colorful butterfly.
Download their debut 2 song EP on bandcamp.
We first posted this track back in March, and promised a video would be following soon.
Well, here it is, and it’s well worth the wait.
Directed by our pal Andrew Sloan, it’s something CANADA would be proud of while clearly showing a lot of Sloan’s personal touch.

Digging how there ain’t more than a few elements going on at any given time and yet it’s so awesome. Great vox, kidz.
Silver Hands Skulls
Well kids, I hope you have your dancing pants on, because this track is a six minute and thirteen second party you won’t want to end. In line with new wave disco pop acts like Glass Candy, and Nite Jewel, while flickering hints of Hot Chip, Justice and LCD Soundsystem trickle through the cracks of the new side project of Afghan Raiders drummer Drew Marcogliese. something serious.
With only two songs released and no information to provide because Drew’s roommate IMed this track to me last night, then signed off, all I can do is listen and try not to shake my ass too much at my desk at work. I just wouldn’t feel right about denying you all of this fantastic new jam, so had to drop it like it’s hot right away.
I’m calling it now, something fantastic is a brewin, and it’s going to be big. Follow Silver Hands on Soundcloud to keep up.
