Bon Accord - French Letter
I came across London’s Bon Accord last night while I was catching up on Soundcloud submissions and he was nice enough to point me to a download of his new EP called Honeydew; four mesmerizing doses of chilled out pop music that you shouldn’t pass up. Each track is stretched out, allowing the layers to slowly stack together and ease you gracefully into the heart of the song. If you can’t get enough, stay tuned for more offerings on his Bandcamp in the near future.
This is one of those EPs you listen to and enjoy it but at the end you say “wait, what just happened? I can’t remember what I just heard.” (like going to a movie really really stoned).
I especially like “Dissolving” which has a pleasant outro with some casual guitar lines punctuated with synths.
I hope Slowdive hear’s stuff like this so they can feel tingly inside.
